Our Busy Little Girl

Ella just started pushing her little walker around, and she simply beams when she pushes it. You can tell that she's pretty proud of her new found ability. Ella will be turning one in just a couple of weeks and wow, I know this sounds so cliche, but the time has flown. It seems that she went from a little baby to a toddler over night.

Ella is now at that tricky age where she is getting into everything. I'm finding it hard to keep her occupied with toys. She just wants to explore and get into the things that I don't want her to get into, namely potted plants (see below)

You know those times when things become a little too quiet around your house and that usually it means the kids are getting into something that you don't want them to? When this happens with Ella 90 percent of the time that means she is playing in the dirt of a large plant we have in the living room. This has become one of her new discoveries. Thank goodness for wood floors!
This is by far one of Ella's favorite things to do at our house. All of my kids have really loved the jumper, but Ella has turned it into a sport. I really need to capture it on our digital camera so that you can see her in action . A still shot just doesn't do it justice. In this picture Grant decided to stuff all of his special blankets and teddy bears into it so they could go for a ride. Luckily we have a wide entrance to our family room, because at times Ella will bounce is large circles while simultaneouly spinning in little circles. It's hilarious!
And last of all Ella just LOVES taking a bath. It's so fun when they get to this stage. The only down side is that she cries every time I take her out at the end of bathtime. Don't worry, the shark survived the attack.

What a cute little girl! I definitely want to see the video of her in the jumper. Alex loved his jumper too although he didn't get to have a sibling put blankets and friends in it. :)

I LOVE the silly quotes! That is so funny that Grant blamed Daddy for the wet bed...you are lucky to write those down. Hilarious!

Ella is so cute! I can't believe how much she has grown...that is so funny about the plants. I remember Jessica loved to do that as a baby.

She sounds just like Everett! Climbing into cupboards, pulling out tupperware, such a fun age!
