Trick or Treat

We had a dry run this past weekend for Halloween at our ward's Halloween party. The kids played lots of fun games at the party and most importantly received lots of treats. Our family was a hodge podge of characters. Lauren was the Little Mermaid, Grant was Spiderman, Ella was a chicken, Harv was a viking and I was a witch. This was our attempt at getting the kids to pose for a picture together. They are all marching to their own beat.

Harv was the most creative costume of all. Some friends of ours joked that it looks like Harv got out of the shower, forgot to put his pants on, (don't worry he has shorts underneath the towel) threw the bath rug over his shoulders, threw on some boots and Presto-- he became a viking. Pretty close, but I'm glad to say that is not our bath rug, but it is true that he is wearing a "towel skirt" as many people referred to it. Gotta love Harv for his creativity.

What a coincidence, Chandler is going to be Spiderman. Those are cute pics of the kids.

Harv's costumes never cease to amaze me! You guys are so festive with Halloween. I can't remember the last time I really dressed up in costume. The girls love their cousins' costumes, especially (can you guess) the little mermaid!

I love your costumes! Your family is so festive! I can particularly tell from the poses that Lauren truly felt that she was the Little Mermaid! So cute.
