A Trip to the Wisconsin Dells

A couple weekends ago we went to the Wisconsin Dells. A touristy town with all kinds of man-made wonders, including huge indoor and outdoor waterparks. We went up for the weekend with two other families and had a great time. It was a great way to escape the never-ending winter. The kids played for hours in the water and Grant even braved a big waterslide. As the for the adults there were some very thrilling waterslides that I can't even describe. All I know is that I was shaking after most of them. We stayed in a great condo complete with a kitchen, fireplace and flatscreen TV. One of the highlights for the adults was the chance we had to play games after all the kids went to bed. It was a whirlwind trip, and required a lot of preparation, but it was well worth it.

Those waterparks are a life long dream of mine. I keep seeing them on the Travel Channel and want to go. That and for the cheese.

Okay, so I just went to another friend's blog, and they just did an adventure to an amazing indoor waterpark too! (They live in Michigan.) I guess it's something that they do in that part of the country? It looks awesome! They need to go national!

Glad you got to have a little vacation!
