I asked Ella one day if she would stay little forever. She responded by saying, "I be rockstar Mommy!" So I took that as a "no". 2y
This is Ella's first official funny sentence. I can't wait for more silliness from her as her language skills improve.

We have made a new mealtime rule that is somewhat silly but says: You're done when your seat leaves your bum. After church one day I asked Grant how his primary class was and if he was good for his teacher. He then said:
"I stayed in my seat the whole time but Alex and Kotaro, their seats kept leaving their bums" (speaking of his classmates)

Lauren: "Grant what is your favorite part of your body?"
Grant: "My mouth, because it helps get food to my tummy and I love food!" (that couldn't be more true)

Situation: It's 6:30 on Sunday morning. I hear something down in the kitchen. I come downstairs to find cake mix all over the floor and all over Grant's pajamas.
Harvey: "Grant, you need to have Mom or Dad help you to make a cake."
Grant: "But I'm not making a cake, I'm just mixing it."
Harvey: "Oh..."

Cute pictures of your kids! The first three would look so cute grouped together. Also, love the pic of Ella eating the animal crackers and of Lauren pulling Evan and Grant. What a funny girl!
I love all of your pictures! Sooo cute! I love the picture of Ella eating animal crackers! Was that your idea or the photographers? Just wondering how that all works. Anyway, totally cute!
These pictures are darling! Your children always have the cutest expressions. I love the Ella animal cracker picture (seems to be a big hit). What a cute idea for the HA shirt! We need to take a page out of your book when doing family pictures.
