Madeline's Christmas

This past Saturday we took the kids to see "Madeline's Christmas" at a children's theatre in Hopkins. They loved it, and right after the show they were able to meet the cast. Grant noticed that many of the kids in front of us were having the cast members sign the program, so Grant did the same. I'm not sure if he understood why, but he decided he should go along with what everyone else was doing. At the end of the line was Madeline and so we were able to get a picture of the kids with her. When we left, Harv and I asked what their favorite part of the show was and they both said, "getting our picture taken with Madeline." On the drive home Grant asked if we could have Madeline come to our house to play. They were both disappointed when I told them that she was probably busy with all the plays that she was performing. It was a fun thing to do with the kids -- maybe we'll have to do it again soon.

That sounds like so much fun! What a great way to start the Christmas season. I love reading what Lauren and Grant say. It makes me anxious to start having real conversations with Alex.

So fun to be able to do some "big kid" things with your kids! I always love to see what your kids are wearing...what with Harv being so into fashion and all!
