This is my first attempt at a blog. For someone who didn't even know what a blog was until a year ago this is a big step for me. I hope this will be a fun way to document the exciting lives of Harv and I and our three children. So enjoy and wish me luck!

We have made a new mealtime rule that is somewhat silly but says: You're done when your seat leaves your bum. After church one day I asked Grant how his primary class was and if he was good for his teacher. He then said:
"I stayed in my seat the whole time but Alex and Kotaro, their seats kept leaving their bums" (speaking of his classmates)

Situation: It's 6:30 on Sunday morning. I hear something down in the kitchen. I come downstairs to find cake mix all over the floor and all over Grant's pajamas.
Harvey: "Grant, you need to have Mom or Dad help you to make a cake."
Grant: "But I'm not making a cake, I'm just mixing it."
Harvey: "Oh..."
